"Unfortunately, Greece currently has the worst government at the worst time," said main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday, attacking Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the government in an article published by thebest.gr website, ahead of his tour of the port city of Patras.
The government "opens up the manual of neoliberalism and acts as a multiplier," Tsipras said, while he spoke of a "failure in tackling the pandemic and now the management of the price hikes".
"Let us not kid ourselves. The [electricity] bills have four words on them: Mitsotakis, privatisation and golden boys".
